Alcoholic (damp) grade-A nitrocellulose consists of Humidity (including water and alcohol) which has a percentage weight of 30% to 35%, and water with a percentage weight of 7% at max. On the other hand, the granular form of grade-A nitrocellulose has a percentage weight of 2% of water, and the humidity part of the NC is replaced by a plasticizer (in this case, Dibutylphetalate) with a percentage weight that lies between 18% to 22%.
